Commonly narrative text is found in story book; myth, fable, folklore, etc while recount text is found in biography.
The thing that makes narrative and recount different is the structure in which they are constructed. Kala Tabir Bersenandung Cinta
Akbar terus berlari sekencang-kencangnya. Sering kali Aisha menghela nafas panjang.
Sesekali Akbar mengedarkan pandangannya ke segala arah. Ia terus melihat pemandangan yang menyedihkan. Pemandangan menyedihkan itu terus terjadi silih berganti. Puluhan kendaraan saling bertabrakan satu sama lain. Kecelakaan itu merupakan kecelakaan beruntun. Mereka berdua terus berlari sangat kencang. Seluruh tenaga mereka kerahkan. Peluh keringat bercucuran tetes demi tetes.
“ Aisha. Kamu harus bisa tetap berlari. Gelombang sudah semakin dekat. Kamu harus bisa Aisha. “ Ia mensupport Aisha yang ia genggam tangannya sambil menunjuk gelombang laut tinggi yang siap mengejar mereka berdua.
“ Tapi Kak, aku tidak kuat lagi. “
“ Aisha, kamu harus kuat! “
“ Tapi Kak, aku lelah “ Ia sedikit mengiba.
“ Kak Akbar aku tak tahan berlari lagi. Biarkan tinggalkan aku saja di sini. Kakak berlari saja.
Aisha menundukkan kepalanya. Hatinya tergerak. Ia segera bangkit dan kembali berlari menyelamatkan diri. Aisha tampak letih setelah berlari jauh. Jilbab panjangnya berkelebat diterpa angin kencang.
Akbar segera menuju bangku supir.
“ Pak bisakah kami menumpang mobil Bapak? “
Seorang lelaki besar berkulit hitam dibangku supir terdiam.
“ Pak saya mohon “ Akbar mengiba.
“ Dik, Truk kami tidak memiliki banyak bangku “
“ Apakah di bak belakang tidak bisa? Saya mohon Pak “
“ Baiklah “
Akbar segera menyuruh Aisha naik.
“ Kak aku tidak mau “
“ Kenapa? “
“ Aku hanya mau dengan kakak “ “ Aisha kakak mohon. Naiklah.
Aisha menitikkan air matanya.

The man felt excited having the smartest parrot but he could not understand why the parrot would not say Catano. The man tried to teach the bird to say Catano however the bird kept not saying the word.
At the first, the man was very nice to the bird but then he got very angry. “You stupid bird!” pointed the man to the parrot. “Why can’t you say the word? Say Catano! Or I will kill you” the man said angrily. Although he tried hard to teach, the parrot would not say it. Then the man got so angry and shouted to the bird over and over; “Say Catano or I’ll kill you”. The bird kept not to say the word of Catano.

There were four old chickens for next dinner “You are as stupid as the chickens. Just stay with them” Said the man angrily. Then he continued to humble; “You know, I will cut the chicken for my meal. Next it will be your turn, I will eat you too, stupid parrot”. After that he left the chicken house.
The next day, the man came back to the chicken house. He opened the door and was very surprised. He could not believe what he saw at the chicken house. There were three death chickens on the floor.
